Goals of the class:

Professor Jason Lind aimed to teach another class of students to be more tech-savvy, and become familiar with industry-standard tools and programs –– He succeeded.

Design

Learn and explore the basics of designing. Used in contexts of Adobe Suite products such as Photoshop, InDesign, and Dreamweaver.

Recording

 The class was introduced to concepts of audio recording and editing with the free program Audacity. Student teams recorded and edited podcasts.

Creation

A digital world calls for digital media. Using these new tools, the  class created newsletters, book covers, page layouts, and even a website.

Exploring

Even if you know concepts and tools already, the class gave us three to four hours a week to explore and tinker with the programs.
